So....I've decided that I'm going back to my old blog

I dislike with a passion going back to my old blog when I want to stalk my fellow bloggers

I don't want to take the time to add them onto my new blog.

Like I said...LAZY BUM!!!

Also I have heard many times from many of MY STALKERS...that since I changed my blog I haven't been blogging as much. So maybe this will start me up again.

V-DAY!!!

Our Valentines Day (February 12th) was AWESOME!!!

Friday morning I rolled over in bed onto an envelope

& in the envelope was a very sweet card that my husbueno picked out for me!! When my eyes finally adjusted I noticed this.....

My guy was very busy in the morning putting everything together while I was still passed out in bed.

I was very excited to get flowers, chocolate, sparkling cider (I'm a lil obsessed with the stuff) & edward sweetarts haha & my Vera Bradley Purse that I have been wanting!!

That Night....

we went to the

and had their buffalo blast for an appetizer & they were DELICIOUS & then we shared their farfalle dish that has mushrooms, caramelized onions, sun dried tomatoes, pancetta all in a garlic cream sauce. I'm totally salivating right now

After dinner we went and saw Valentines Day...and the only thing I liked about the movie was him & these AMAZING flowers!!!

After our Friday Valentines day, I woke up on Saturday thinking I had to hit the stores to get my discounted Valentine decor, when Colin reminded me that Valentines day is not over yet.

So I had an idea

& Colin always groans & gets really nervous when he hears those words hahah!!

But this time he got himself into this mess.

colin had suggested awhile ago that we should heart attack our parents house & of course what do us women do when we are given a good idea?!?

WE TAKE IT,

WE BLOW IT OUT OF PROPORTION BY CUTTING OUT 400 HEARTS

WE DRIVE OUR HUSBANDS CRAZY BY PUTTING LIP KISSES ON THEIR FACE & MASCARA SMEARS UNDER THEIR EYES

WE RUN WITH IT & MAKE OUR HUSBANDs DRESS UP IN BLACK & RED

AND WE ATTACK WITH HEARTS

&

THE RESULTS WERE AWESOME

We were heart attacking for 2 hours that night & we had such a blast!!

Oh I also decided to get crafty and make these cute little treats for my family!!

Valentines Day was so much fun & what can I say

I had the Best Valentine EVER!!

This SUNDAY is a day for....

every year this day comes around I always wanted a Valentine

But the boys never asked me

so I used to dread this upcoming DAY

Colin & I will be celebrating V-Day & our 3 month anniversary ( I know we are silly) on FRIDAY!!! So I will update you on what happens

So you've been begging for an update...We gave in!

Happy New Year! it's been a while...

We Had a GREAT Christmas! Thinking back on Christmas...its easy to pick out our favorite parts.

Our NUMBER ONE FAVORITE of course was...

Spending time with FAMILY!!

We couldn't ask for two better families...It was FUN :) splitting our time between both sides. We had a great time at the Lachelle's sides christmas party where colin had the honor of being the donkey in the nativity. he got to wear panty hose on his head for ears and they could hardly get them off of him when it was over...:) The combs' family party was a success as well, we especially enjoyed the family progressive dinner where we do one course of the meal at each house...but our place got skipped this year for obvious reasons. guess we are still Noobs!


CHRISTMAS ANGELS!

we chose two little girls this year, an 18 month old and an 8 year old. We really should have gotten pictures of what we got them because I think we went a little crazy- mostly on shell's part... she couldn't resist all those cute clothes at walmart :) We got the baby some cute dora stuff and several outfits and the other girl of course had to have a hannah montana guitar and notebook and some adorable clothes. for some reason all we ended up with was a picture of colin next to the christmas angels tree....


All december we had both been dreaming of a white christmas, but it was't until January that....

WE GOT OUR WISH!!!

...Sort of. Okay, it didn't snow in Mesa, so we decided to go up to Sholow the last weekend before school started! We just chillaxed up at the cabin. watched a lot of television, went and got some good mexican food and some delectable fudge. Oh and we can't forget the best part...

BOWLING!

We went to the alpine lanes and tore up the lanes. Shell was thinks she's pretty hot because she scored higher than Colin, but we all know that the guy always lets the girl win the first time to build up her confidence... :)

Overall it was just great to be up in the snow, bundling up in the cold, and taking one last vacation before the dreaded semester of school.

They went out for a WILD night...I'm pretty sure I didn't get most of the details of what went on, but I'm sure they had a lot of fun!

on in the Merrills' lives since

the BIG DAY!

















Most Importantly,

Shel became the newest member of

the Merrill Family!








We just recently went up to flagstaff. We had really been needing to just get away, and a ROAD TRIP was exactly the thing to make us forget about everything else!

As you can see, we had A BLAST in Flagstaff!! we got to bundle up because it was FREEZING and we got to see Cecily at NAU's holiday dinners

We had a lot of fun walking around

downtown and going into the shops!

And of course we had to take

advantage of some photo

opportunities...

We've really enjoyed being in our new place and we are slowly but surely getting everything put together... (photos mainly for the benefit of Granparents overseas)



















This process should move along much quicker now that winter break has finally arrived!! Which also means that Christmas is right around the corner!! Shel decorated our tree which looks AMAZING and she is doing the 12 DAYS of Christmas for me! :)
